Responsibilities
Maintains network hardware, peripheral devices (laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, etc.), and software
Supports organizational compliance with HIPAA security standards
Optimizes the organization’s information technology and assists with organizational information technology purchasing decisions and processes
Works closely with hardware and software vendors to assure effective and efficient technology investments
Assists with data reporting when called upon
Conducts effective technology training for employees
Stays abreast of the information technology field through continuing education and networking with other professionals in the community health center and community mental health fields
Advises leadership in the use of technology to accomplish organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Strong sense of ethics and confidentiality
Ability to diagnose and repair hardware/software
Proficient in network and equipment security
Ability to work with human service professionals
Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related area
Preferred
Familiarity with FQHC / CCBHC
General knowledge of Electronic Health Record functionality
