They are currently seeking a Senior Research/Data Analyst to support the KC-46 Tanker Program Office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The role involves collecting and analyzing data, validating maintenance data accuracy, and collaborating with USAF organizations to improve data inputs.

Responsibilities

Collect data from various USAF operating systems, identify positive and negative trends and report detailed information using graphs, charts, and spreadsheets as required

Examine and validate the accuracy of the USAF maintenance data to include Program Depot Maintenance Scheduling System (PDMSS), and Logistics Evaluation Assurance Program (LEAP) to ensure that it produces meaningful information

Collaborate and coordinate with USAF organizations to improve the accuracy of data inputs to ensure desired outcomes

Utilize scientific inquiry in the independent development of mathematical models and computer programs to evaluate and predict aircraft parameter performance using tools such as JMP, MATLAB, Simio, Python, and VBA

Must have knowledge of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSS&E efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including ground-based systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physical Sciences and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD

OR Master's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physical Sciences and twelve (12) years of relevant experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position

Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire

Must be able to travel, including air travel
