Responsibilities
Perform chemistry and/or physical sample preparation and testing
Analyze and report laboratory data, verifying interpretation with more senior Technicians or leadership
Responsible for equipment operation, calibration, cleaning and minor maintenance
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience with both metric and standard systems of measurement required
Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and field-specific software
Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
Preferred
Associate's Degree or some coursework in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology preferred
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
