Calibration Technician II (1st Shift)

Responsibilities
Perform precise calibration and verification of inspection, measurement, and test equipment across electrical, dimensional, and mechanical disciplines
Maintain calibration standards and reference equipment to ensure measurement traceability and reliability
Collect, analyze, and record calibration data to identify out-of-tolerance conditions and determine corrective actions
Prepare and maintain detailed calibration documentation, including reports and certificates, in accordance with internal quality system requirements
Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and quality assurance to resolve equipment performance issues and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Support continuous improvement efforts by reviewing calibration methods and recommending process or equipment enhancements
Ensure safe handling, storage, and maintenance of calibration tools and equipment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent
Minimum of two years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a related technical field
Working knowledge of calibration processes for electrical, dimensional, or mechanical measurement equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to measurement accuracy and compliance
Proficiency in technical documentation, data entry, and report preparation
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Completion of college-level, technical school, or military training in calibration, metrology, or a related discipline
Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical device, aerospace, or defense manufacturing
Proficiency in calibration management software and statistical analysis tools
