Coalition Assistant
Atlantic Prevention Resources, Inc. is a community-based, non-profit organization focused on preventing harm associated with substance use and violence. The Coalition Assistant will support initiatives addressing substance use prevention, including assisting with coalition meetings, outreach, and managing documentation and records.
Responsibilities
Assisting with coalition meetings
Maintaining communication with community partners
Assisting with program outreach and development
Managing documentation and records
Event planning
Data collection
Reporting on coalition activities
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and community engagement
Proficiency with office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and data entry
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to APR's mission of preventing harm caused by substance use and violence
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Human Services, Communications, or a related field
Experience with event planning, facilitation, or community organizing
Familiarity with public health, substance use prevention, or non-profit programs
