Responsibilities
Administer and manage employee benefits programs including health, retirement, wellness, and life insurance
Support employees with benefits enrollment, eligibility questions, and claims assistance
Maintain accurate benefits records, elections, changes, and compliance documentation
Ensure benefits programs remain compliant with federal, state, and local regulations
Partner with benefits providers to address service issues and support plan administration
Communicate benefits options clearly and provide ongoing employee guidance
Prepare reports to evaluate benefits effectiveness and recommend improvements
Track enrollment periods, deadlines, and benefits-related timelines
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an HR Employee Benefits Specialist or in a related HR role
Strong knowledge of health, retirement, and insurance benefit programs
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and employee support skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely
Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration tools
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace
