Criminal Information Technician I- Expungement
The State of Utah is looking for a Criminal Information Technician I to provide advanced level support in the expungement process. The role involves evaluating requests for expungement eligibility and processing expungements while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

Responsibilities
Searches, retrieves and/or researches public and private records in accordance with applicable state and federal laws
Performs initial background and history research on individual(s) being investigated and/or researched
Ensures that agency and/or state records are properly classified, processed and controlled
Qualification
Required
Must pass the Utah Bureau of Identification Proficiency test within the probationary period and maintain certification thereafter
Will be able to maintain confidentiality
Will be able to understand and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations, as well as policies and procedures
Will be able to use logic to make a decision or solve a problem
Will be to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely
Will be able to follow written and/or oral instructions
