Responsibilities
Reviewing business and personal tax returns for clients in the dental industry
Manage client relationships and conduct regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction
Lead and mentor staff and senior associates
Prepare quarterly tax planning analyses to ensure we’re proactively helping clients with tax liabilities
Manage 2-3 staff and senior associates, including assigning and reviewing tax returns
Review tax notices for clients assigned to you and your team
Become an expert in the field of dental practice accounting to become overtime a trusted advisor to our clients
Provide bookkeeping services for clients
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience, including reviewing S-Corp, Partnership, and Individual returns within public accounting
Active CPA or EA certification is required
Preferred
Accounting or tax preparation experience specifically with dentists and/or dental practice owners is strongly preferred
Master's Degree in Accounting
Experience using Lacerte tax software
Experience using QuickBooks
