This role involves managing end-to-end database operations, ensuring high availability and reliability of database environments, and overseeing ETL workflows for data integration across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end database operations
Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments
Lead system health and storage monitoring
Perform advanced query, index, and resource optimization
Oversee database security by managing logins, users, roles, and permissions
Review, execute, and validate DDL and DML scripts
Coordinate database change requests
Design, develop, schedule, and maintain ETL workflows
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL job execution
Resolve data quality issues
Implement logging and error handling
Collaborate with application and analytics teams to optimize data pipelines

Required

Successful completion of an Associate Degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college, university or business school
Two years of experience as a Database Administrator for Universal DB2, ORACLE, INFORMIX, SQL Server, SYBASE or any other multi-user database management system on mainframe, mini, or client/server platforms
Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in database administration and management work, with Universal DB2, ORACLE, INFORMIX, SQL Server, SYBASE or any other multi-user database management on mainframe, mini, or client/server platforms
Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in programming and analysis work using any of a variety of programming languages, including two years of SQL experience and a variety of data storage techniques
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field may be substituted for the required training and the two years of experience
