The role involves evaluating AI-generated reasoning, annotating datasets, and validating AI outputs to improve model safety and accuracy in various insurance operations.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated reasoning for:

Underwriting decisions

Claims assessment and adjudication

Risk evaluation and pricing logic

Policy terms, endorsements, and exclusions

Annotate and review datasets related to:

Policy review and approval workflows

Risk scoring and segmentation

Product development and pricing strategies

Compliance and regulatory checks

Validate AI outputs across:

P&C, Health, Life, and Specialty lines

Claims triage, fraud flags, loss estimation, and coverage decisions

Provide structured feedback to improve:

Model safety and robustness

Domain accuracy and consistency

Real-world applicability in insurance operations

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field

7+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Underwriting (P&C, Health, Life, Specialty), Claims processing / claims operations, Product development & pricing, Actuarial/risk analysis, Insurance operations or policy administration

Strong understanding of core insurance KPIs, such as: Loss ratios, combined ratios, Premiums, reserves, exposures, Frequency & severity trends, Policy lifecycle and retention metrics

Location: Remote (must be legally eligible to work from your current country; US-based strongly preferred for this phase)
