Responsibilities
Support the HVAC and Plumbing Field Leaders
Be an expert in the field of Mechanical Construction
Become a hands-on expert on Creature’s operational model
Become adept at understanding and updating our Labor Model
Be responsible for short and medium-term labor planning
Work with Creature PM team to smooth out labor for Mechanical and Plumbing self-perform teams to cause smooth manpower loading of Creature projects
Work to recruit and standardize training of new field talent
Be responsible for the P&L related to the Mechanical/Plumbing work
Be a strategic, rigorous, and disciplined outside-the-box thinker AND doer
Communicate complexity simply – verbally and in writing
Work well with a team of smart contrarians in an entrepreneurial environment – think startup in a transparent, sometimes irreverent, open-office plan
Qualification
Required
At least 7 years in Project Management for a Commercial Mechanical Contractor
Strong vision and leadership skills
Ability to communicate complexity simply – verbally and in writing
Expertise in the field of Mechanical Construction
Experience in delivering HVAC and related systems for medical and commercial clients on schedule and within budget
Ability to work with a high-level of ownership
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to transition from hands-on work to creating smart systems
Experience in labor planning and management
Ability to work well with a team in an entrepreneurial environment
Preferred
BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
