Site Supervisor - Woodland Early Learning
YMCA of Superior California is seeking a Site Supervisor for their Woodland Early Learning program. The role involves managing and supervising the CDC Infant, Toddler and Preschool program, ensuring a safe and high-quality environment while adhering to YMCA policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities
Manage, coordinate and maintain an infant, toddler and preschool site
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff. Conduct regular staff meetings and organize trainings
Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergency procedures
Maintain required child/staff ratio. May provide direct supervision of a group of children as necessary
Implement child care programs in accordance with YMCA Child Care Standards, Community Care Licensing, CDSS guidelines and Title 5 and Title 22
Maintain safety of site and children by implementing the health care plan, risk management and emergency procedures in conformity with YMCA and Community Care Licensing policies
Maintain accurate records according to YMCA and Community Care Licensing standards, including attendance records, USDA forms, immunization records, registrations and sign-in/sign-out records
Demonstrate the 'Character Counts' values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility in all your dealings with members, guests, volunteers and staff
Coordinate and maintain positive public relations and clear communications with parents, staff, volunteers, and school personnel. Coordinate schedule with the YMCA and school calendar
Prepare and publish a monthly parent newsletter
Ensure that supplies are maintained and purchased within the operating budget
Market and promote the program and ensure full capacity
Maintain the daily cleanliness and safety of the site
Works with Sac Central Summer at the Y Director as a partnership of programs
Create new program opportunities
Operate programs within budget and keep up to date with parent payments and aging reports
All other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent
21 years of age or older
Must meet the Site Supervisor qualifications outlined by the CDSS
A permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing supervision of a child care and development program operating in single site. This can be either of the following permits: Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or Children's Center Supervision Permit
A current credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing teaching service in elementary school or a single subject credential in home economics, and six units in administration/supervision of ECE/CD (not required to any person who was employed as a program director prior to 1/1/93 in a child care and development program receiving funding by the ELCD) and 12 units of ECE/CD or at least two years' experience in an ECE/CD program
An Administrative Services Credential authorizing administration or supervision in public schools in California that includes a preschool authorization
CPR/First Aid (must be completed within first 60 days of employment)
EMSA Preventative Health & Safety w/ Nutrition and Lead Poisoning for Child Care Providers Certificate (or ECE coursework that covers lead)
Mandated Reporter cert
Copy of degree/transcripts
Proof of vaccinations (tdap, MMP and flu)
4 years experience teaching in a licensed center
