Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings including foundation plans, floor plans, elevations, electrical/HVAC/plumbing layout, cross sections, etc
Prepare detailed drawings for shop floor production showing deck layout, wall framing detail, truss layout, etc

Qualification

AutoCADResidential construction knowledgeBuilding codes knowledgeAnalytical skillsOrganizational skillsProblem solving skillsCommunication skillsAttention to detail

Required

Proficient with AutoCAD Architectural drafting software
Knowledge of residential construction practices, modular home building a plus
Knowledge of residential building codes
Self-starter with ability to carry out assigned tasks timely and efficiently
Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, and attention to detail
