The Architectural Drafter will be responsible for producing architectural and production drawings for modular homes, ensuring detailed plans are created for construction and production purposes.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings including foundation plans, floor plans, elevations, electrical/HVAC/plumbing layout, cross sections, etc

Prepare detailed drawings for shop floor production showing deck layout, wall framing detail, truss layout, etc

Qualification

AutoCADResidential construction knowledgeProblem solvingOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

Proficient with AutoCAD Architectural drafting software

Knowledge of residential construction practices, modular home building a plus

Self-starter with ability to carry out assigned tasks timely and efficiently

Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills

Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, and attention to detail
