Responsibilities
Prepare Instrumentation and Controls deliverables for different design phases based on P&ID’s, specifications, standards, codes, and customer input, including: instrument lists, I/O lists, instrument data sheets, wiring and segment diagrams, instrument and device location diagrams
Work directly with lead engineers to develop technical strategy and deliverables for Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and/or Advanced Technology client projects
Develop understanding of instrumentation and controls as it applies to sanitary process system design
Coordinate and interact effectively with project managers, vendors, and engineers across multiple disciplines
Review supplier and design documentation to verify the accuracy and completeness of vendor submittals and shop drawings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience
Familiarity with mathematical and engineering principles and methods used to design Instrumentation & Controls systems
Experience with preparing Instrumentation and Controls deliverables for different design phases based on P&ID's, specifications, standards, codes, and customer input
Ability to work directly with lead engineers to develop technical strategy and deliverables for Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and/or Advanced Technology client projects
Understanding of instrumentation and controls as it applies to sanitary process system design
Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with project managers, vendors, and engineers across multiple disciplines
Experience reviewing supplier and design documentation to verify the accuracy and completeness of vendor submittals and shop drawings
Software Skills: Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
