Responsibilities
Be a Global Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for the Advanced Technology Group (ATG), leading and controlling the design semiconductor tool install projects
Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle related to Structural deliverables
Work directly with clients, project managers, engineers, and architects to design coordinated best-in-class systems for advanced manufacturing, process, and R&D facilities
Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines such as mechanical, civil, architectural and process to develop designs
Independently lead plant design activities as an area/system leader and coordinate with multi-discipline designers
Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
Responsible for detailed design of structures in steel, concrete and masonry in accordance with BS, EN, and International codes
Using a wide range of design software, backed up by hand calculation
Liaison with REVIT & CAD technicians to produce quality design deliverables
Exercise judgment in developing plans or alternatives and work with teams to assure quality plans
Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities
Review construction submittals for conformance with the intent of contract and design documents
Have experience interacting with process and piping teams to implement pipe stress coordination
Qualification
Required
Minimum qualification of BSc in Civil Structural Engineering or related Engineering field
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required, or on track to obtain P.E. in the near future
Minimum 5+ years experience performing industrial high-tech facilities engineering design preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and applicable engineering software
Strong relevant engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sector
Excellent English level - written and spoken
Knowledge of Electrical specific design standards, with a current understanding of National Electrical Codes (NEC), NFPA, and applicable international building codes
Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels, and be able to work with remote teams in different times zones and geography
Ability to provide valid work authorization for US employment
Solid written/verbal communication skills
Organisational skills and attention to detail
Solid knowledge of MS Office 365
Ability to work well under pressure
Can do attitude
Willing to learn and develop
Preferred
Minimum 5+ years experience performing industrial high-tech facilities engineering design preferred
Experience using REVIT in a BIM environment desirable
Local candidates preferred. Will entertain relocation for candidates with directly related experience
