Responsibilities

Apply the principles of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, energy conversion systems and heat transfer to real-world problems
Actively engage in product problem solving and product failure mode avoidance
Leverage data analysis results drive further optimization of the design and performance
Demonstrate effective use of appropriate industry and Cummins specific tools and software
Consider system requirements and demonstrate a system thinking approach to work
Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and a strong customer focus
Collaborate and communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with key stakeholders and colleagues

Required

Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college/university
Must be able to complete a minimum of 4-months to 6-months or a maximum of a 12-months commitment
Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
Willingness to learn from others on the job
Must be currently residing within the continental U.S

Preferred

Minimum 2.5 or above GPA preferred
