Responsibilities

Ideal candidates will have a record of publications in such journals as those on the UT Dallas and Financial Times 50 journal lists and demonstrate excellence in teaching with the ability to contribute at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
Teaching experience in auditing or financial accounting at the graduate and undergraduate is highly desirable
Candidates are expected to be able to demonstrate the ability to incorporate data analytics and quantitative skills into courses they have taught or can teach

Qualification

Doctorate DegreePublications in top journalsTeaching experience in accountingData analytics skillsProfessional certification (CPA)Experience in auditingQuantitative skillsAACSB accreditation knowledge

Required

Doctor of Philosophy degree with a major or concentration in Accountancy from an AACSB accredited institution or international equivalent
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of associate professor or full professor
Must have publications in the top ranked accounting journals as identified by the UTD or FT50 publication lists

Preferred

Both AACSB college and accountancy accreditation of program granting the candidate's degree
Reputation of program granting the candidate's degree
Evidence of ability to publish in top-level journals such as those on the UTD or FT50 list
Evidence of experience or ability to teach courses in auditing or financial accounting
Evidence of the ability to incorporate data analytics and quantitative skills into courses they have taught or can teach
Overall quality of the candidate as indicated by letters of reference and personal contacts
Professional certifications such as CPA
Reputation of program(s) where the candidate has been employed
Practice experience
