Responsibilities

Responsible for the development and maintenance of complex and diverse software systems using object oriented programming and AGILE software methodologies

Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features and integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments

Provide input to software components of system design to include hardware/software, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis

Review and test software components, document test results, and resolve software problem reports/correct software defects/bugs

Developing simple data queries for databases or data repositories may also be required
