Responsibilities
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
Interpreting blueprints
Developing material lists for assigned projects
Serving as a lead worker overseeing helpers during various stages of work
Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained
Making minor repairs when needed
Carrying out all duties in compliance with DMVA general safety standards and specific safety requirements of the position
Qualification
Required
Successful completion of the Electrician Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license
You must pass a favorable National Crime Information Center (NCIC) screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap
You must be able to perform essential job functions
Preferred
Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment
Completed an approved apprenticeship in the electrical trade
