NEOGOV is seeking an Administrative Assistant 1 for the Lycoming Children and Youth Program. This role involves providing essential administrative support and serving as the primary handler for the Court Facility dog services, ensuring efficient daily operations and supporting families throughout Lycoming County.

Responsibilities

Providing direct support and assistance to the Joinder’s Administrative Assistant II to ensure efficient daily operations

Maintaining the agency website

Overseeing staff training

Coordinating contract processes with providers

Providing front desk receptionist coverage as needed

Maintaining schedules and records

Coordinating prioritized requests from staff

Accompanying the dog to provide emotional support during meetings, hearings, proceedings, and visits

Ensuring the health and well-being of the dog(s) and attending veterinarian appointments

Guiding interactions during visits in a patient, polite, and professional manner

Required

Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or any equivalent combination of experience and training
