NEOGOV is seeking a Health and Human Resources Specialist to support medical providers across West Virginia. The role involves training, technical support, and conducting audits related to immunization reporting and quality improvement for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

Responsible for enrollment training and troubleshooting issues both technical and on site for medical providers across the state of West Virginia
Enrolls providers into West Virginia Statewide Immunization Information Systems (WVSIIS); On site training for medical providers on how to utilize the immunization registry and share all features and immunization reporting best practice as well as travel the state to conduct Vaccine for Children/Immunization Quality Improvement for Providers (VFC/IQIP) audits in physician offices, clinics and hospitals
Meet with office staff to conduct audits, reviews the requirements of the VFC program, use WVSIIS date to identify/assess pocket of needs as well as state and local reports to assess provider immunization coverage rates
Complete the required paperwork based on the findings from the office visit and recommend continued participation or disqualify provider from participation in the federal program
Data validation- constant data monitoring of electronic health records submitted via HL7 (Health Level Seven) in order for medical providers to receive Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) funding

Required

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Two (2) years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment
Master's degree in social work from a regionally accredited social work program from a regionally accredited college or university
One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Health and Human Resources series may substitute for the required training and experience
