Responsibilities

Assist in integrating sensors and computing platforms over various electrical interfaces (e.g. RS232, RS422, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, etc)
Aid in deploying novel algorithms for optimal estimation and/or computer vision to various processing architectures for real-time execution
Support software architecture with software design, programming, and code reviews
Work within a team of 3-5 engineers to test algorithms on demonstration hardware
Travel with the team to demonstrate systems in real-world conditions; typically lasts 1-2 weeks and occurs 3-4 times a year
Present techniques, solutions, and results to the team

Required

Bachelor's degree in advanced technical field (electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, software engineering or equivalent) and less than 2 years of experience
Coursework and/or experience in the following: Working within a Linux development environment
Coursework and/or experience in the following: Programming in C/C++
Coursework and/or experience in the following: Exposure to programming in Python or Matlab
US Citizen and be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance after hiring

Preferred

Experience interfacing to sensors such as inertial sensors, GPS, altimeters, cameras, LiDAR, odometers, etc
Experience deploying navigation algorithms to real-time applications
Experience with Linux, C++, and/or Python
Experience with version control tools, especially Git and Gitlab
Experience with autonomous system development through robotics competitions
Existing US security clearance (Secret or above)
