Scientist II

Katalyst CRO is seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the Exploratory Biologics group within the Immunology Discovery Department. The successful candidate will contribute to the discovery of targeted therapeutic molecules through functional cellular assays and will be responsible for designing and executing experiments to advance drug discovery programs.

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in Immunology, Cell Biology or a related Biological Sciences field, with 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience
Extensive experience in in vitro human cell culture, including various immune cell types, with proven ability in cell-based assay development
Proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry, including instrument operation (e.g., Client Canto, MACSQuant) and independent data analysis using FlowJo or equivalent software
Strong background in cell biology and biochemistry techniques, such as ELISA/MSD, Western blotting, Wes/Jess, and confocal microscopy
Demonstrated ability to design, plan, and execute well-controlled in vitro experiments using Client research tools or reagents
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment

Preferred

Hands-on experience with protein-protein interactions, degradation pathways and lysosomal biology is highly desirable
Prior research experience with cutting-edge protein degradation technologies (e.g., PROTACs, LYTACs, or related modalities) is strongly preferred
