Responsibilities
Enforce department and hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Maintain a daily patrol log of activities
Complete incident reports and safety paperwork
Respond to all emergencies and assist emergency response agencies on the campus
Perform monthly safety inspections
Distribute keys to staff and vendors
Assist with new employee orientation
Patrol the campus and parking lots and assist with searches for missing patients
Operate the communication center by answering phone calls, checking in visitors, and searching items for contraband materials
Qualification
Required
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance
