Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate loading of product
Develop and implement efficient workflows to manage client requirements
Optimize layout and labor management to maximize space utilization, safety, and efficiency
Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring service levels are met
Provide regular updates to the client on key operating indicators, performance metrics, and compliance
Collaborate with the client to forecast needs and align warehouse operations accordingly
Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability
Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide coaching to enhance employee skills
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
Ensure the warehouse maintains accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Manage regular cycle count schedules and audits to minimize discrepancies
Implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and enhance stock accuracy
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Conduct regular safety training and audits to maintain a safe working environment
Facilitate the Team Member Safety Committee to help drive an effective safety culture at the site
Analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, load times, and cost efficiency
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize operations
Prepare and present operational and financial reports to management and clients
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage client needs
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team building
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a warehouse setting
Proven experience managing profit and loss (P&L) statements and budgets
Have reliable transportation
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Be at least 18 years old at the time of application
Be willing to submit to a background check and drug test
Minimum of 3 years of warehouse management
Forklift Certification
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
