They are seeking a Windows System Administrator who will be responsible for ensuring the performance and secure operation of business productivity platforms through strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.

Responsibilities

Performs daily monitoring of server systems, analyzing system and application logs, and ensuring the successful execution of automated tasks
Automate routine maintenance tasks using PowerShell scripts or other automation tools
Install, deploy, and optimize hardware configurations, server operating systems, and supporting applications
Generate appropriate documentation of system configurations and maintenance procedures
Provides input in planning and managing IT product and service development initiatives
Remain abreast of emerging technologies and platforms, evaluating their potential integration into server systems
Implement and oversee the integration of new technologies into existing computing environments as needed
Assists with the formulation of IS policies, procedures, and performance management protocols
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues promptly
Ensure timely software updates with the latest security patches, in compliance with company policy

Qualification

PowerShell scriptingWindows Server 2016+Virtualization technologiesCloud TechnologiesBachelor's degreeProficiency with new technologies

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of experience in IS/IT and relevant business/industry roles
Experience with PowerShell scripting beyond basic commands
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016+ platforms
Experience with Virtualization and Cloud Technologies such as Hyper-V, VMWare, and Azure
Proven ability to learn and become proficient with new technologies
