The City of New Orleans is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager Intern to assist in managing large and complex construction or technical implementation projects. This role involves planning and coordinating project activities to meet goals within prescribed priorities and funding conditions.

Responsibilities

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to insure that goals or objectives are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitation, and funding conditions

Infrastructure Project Managers insure effective and efficient management of the project consistent with an established project management cycle and compliance with department guidelines, procedures, and systems; and related work as required

The Infrastructure Project Manager Intern is the professional entry-level class in the series, assigned to receive training and/or serve as an assistant manager on large, complex construction or technical implementation projects or solely manages limited-scope and duration projects with lower-range budgets
