Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a direct hire, fully onsite role in Johnstown, NY. The specialist will be responsible for managing outgoing payments to vendor accounts and ensuring accuracy and timeliness throughout the accounts payable process.

Responsibilities

Open and sort incoming mail and invoices

Coordinate invoice approvals and process purchase order invoices using 3-way matching

Post invoices with accurate general ledger coding

Generate and process payments using the SAP accounting system

Process and clear weekly outgoing payments

Maintain and update supplier information, including new vendor setup

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies

Research and resolve invoice and payment issues as needed
