Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the financial institution location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required by site procedures
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as instructed by Allied Universal and site management
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred
CPR certification is preferred
