Donor Family Services Coordinator - Organ Procurement Org - Days - Full-time
University of Florida is seeking a Donor Family Services Coordinator to respond to the needs of organ donor families by developing and implementing after-care services. The role involves coordinating projects and facilitating communication between donor families and transplant recipients while collaborating on various program development initiatives.

Responsibilities
Responds to the needs of organ donor families by developing and implementing appropriate after-care services, including grief counseling and bereavement support
By coordinating projects, programs and special events that promote the donor families experiences
And by facilitating communication between donor families and transplant recipients
Collaborates on other LifeQuest and donor program development department projects and campaigns as needed
Must demonstrate ability to work independently, find creative solutions to problems and develop innovative ideas
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, health sciences, social work or other related field
Two years of case management, social work, hospice, grief counseling or related experience
Two years of donor family after care experience within an organ procurement organization (OPO), tissue bank or eye bank
Exceptional writing, proofreading, communications, critical thinking and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills
Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'frequent driver'
