Environmental Engineering Trainee
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a diligent professional for the position of Environmental Engineering Trainee within the Department of Environmental Protection. This role involves journey-level engineering work related to erosion and sediment control, hydrology, and hydraulics, ensuring compliance with various environmental laws and regulations.

Implement requirements under the state's Clean Streams Law for erosion and sediment control
Perform journey-level engineering work in the field of hydrology and hydraulics
Implement statewide programs on waterway management and floodplain management mandated by various acts
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, or in any engineering field that includes or is supplemented by 9 credits in environmental engineering
One year of experience in environmental engineering, and possession of a valid Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists
Possession of a valid Non-commercial Class C Driver's License
