Research Assistant (MFM)

Perform experiments under the direction of the laboratory director
Maintain laboratory equipment
Order supplies
Maintain required laboratory safety policies
Maintain lab notebook
Assist others with experiments
Supervise volunteers
Train students, residents, and fellows in lab techniques as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in biologic sciences
two full years of laboratory experience
Valid driver's license and access to an appropriately insured automobile
Preferred
Experience in molecular biologic techniques
Laboratory research experience, including data collection
basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
Familiarity with basic techniques of cell culture
Western Blotting
Northern Blotting
