Responsibilities
Administers leave programs including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other absence policies
Reviews and processes leave requests to ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements
Maintains accurate leave records in HRIS systems and ensures timely communication of status updates
Provides guidance to employees and managers on absence policies, procedures, and available resources
Coordinates with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate pay, benefits continuation, and deductions during leaves
Monitors absence-related metrics and prepares reports on utilization, compliance, and trends
Supports case management for accommodations and return-to-work processes
Ensures compliance with HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable employment laws
Collaborates with HR and leadership to recommend process improvements and enhance employee experience
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business administration or a related field
2-4 years of experience
All experience must be paid and in the same related field
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted
Workday HCM, Kronos/UKG, SHRM-CP, PHR, or CPDM certifications
