NEOGOV is seeking a Spray Operator for their Mosquito Control department. The role involves operating spray trucks safely while applying pesticides for mosquito control and maintaining equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

Operates a spray truck in an assigned area
Maintains and performs safety inspections of assigned vehicle and equipment
Refills tank with chemicals as needed
Cleans tank internally and externally
Cleans and maintains shop, garage and hangar; sweeps, waxes and mops floors
Cleans airplanes as assigned
Assists in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
Obtains landing rate counts for mosquitoes before and after nightly sprayings
Performs related work as assigned

Required

Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent
No experience required
Requires Texas Department of Agriculture non-commercial pesticide license within six months of employment
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history
