Responsibilities
Perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled areas to ensure compliance with cGMP standards
Collect samples from high-purity water systems, clean steam, and compressed gases for routine testing
Support general lab operations, including:
+ Cleaning controlled temperature units
+ Operating autoclaves
+ Maintaining lab cleanliness and organization
Assist with equipment maintenance and calibration coordination
Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to log samples and maintain accurate records
Participate in overtime, weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field OR Associate's degree in Life Sciences with relevant experience
Ability to meet physical demands: Lift 25 lbs or more, Stand/walk for extended periods, Push/pull carts and equipment
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow SOPs
Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new techniques
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments
Familiarity with microbial identification and environmental monitoring
Knowledge of cGMP regulations and LIMS systems
