Provider Recruiter (Routine Vision Care Network)

The Provider Recruiter will lead the expansion of XP Health's national network of routine vision exam providers, building relationships and driving operational excellence to increase access to high-quality eye care.

Responsibilities
Initiate contact with potential providers via phone, email, and mail campaigns
Craft and deliver compelling narratives that communicate the value of XP Health's vision program, platform, and patient-first approach
Build relationships with practice owners, managers, and staff to earn buy-in and ensure long-term partnership success
Educate providers on plan designs, operational processes, and onboarding steps
Collaborate with the Contracting and Credentialing teams to ensure efficient onboarding and accurate documentation
Serve as a key point of contact for recruited providers, offering ongoing support and relationship management
Negotiate fee schedules with new and existing providers within defined parameters
Track and report on recruitment pipeline, conversion metrics, and market insights
Partner with internal teams: Marketing, Operations, and Product to develop scalable recruitment tools and playbooks that accelerate growth
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in recruiting, provider relations/development, business development, or sales; healthcare experience preferred, vision or eye care experience is a strong plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills—a storyteller at heart, able to translate complex concepts into clear, inspiring narratives
Creative thinker who thrives on building new approaches rather than relying on established playbooks
Excellent relationship-building skills where you are able to engage and influence providers, staff, and internal partners alike
Familiarity with contract negotiation and an understanding of provider business dynamics
Startup mindset: resourceful, adaptable, and energized by rapid growth and ambiguity
Comfortable with frequent travel (20–40%) to support field recruitment and relationship-building
Preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Vision or eye care experience is a strong plus
West Coast preferred / Driving distance to XP Health HQ desirable
