Responsibilities

Strong knowledge of powder metallurgy processes, including compaction, sintering, and Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP)
Understanding of metallurgical fundamentals such as phase diagrams, grain growth, diffusion, and defect control
Experience with process development, scale-up, optimization, and continuous improvement
Familiarity with inspection and analysis techniques (metallography, SEM, EDS, XRD) and non-destructive testing (NDT)
Ability to analyze process data (pressure, temperature, sensor logs) using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel)
Knowledge of quality systems and standards including NADCAP, ISO 9001, and AS9100
Experience with lean manufacturing, SPC, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and production scheduling
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues
Effective communicator with solid technical documentation skills
Ability to lead small teams or production shifts and take ownership of process performance
Entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset
