Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and cloud infrastructures including planning network designs, researching new technologies, ensuring network security, overseeing implementation, and upgrading hardware and software to meet operational requirements

Works with government, contractors, industry, and customers to provide Network collaborative services

Provides technical direction for interconnecting distributed test and development laboratory enclaves, cloud connections, network peering, and remote site connectivity

Coordinates technical support with JMETC test customers, JMETC Systems Control (SYSCON), Network Operations and Security Centers, and Cyber Security teams

Experienced in DoD Network management, common network troubleshooting tools and techniques

Works with customers to ensure the availability of the network and networked service adequately support distributed test events

Required

Technical Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 10 years' experience

Experience working with DoD Wide Area Networks and familiarity with various network architectures, multicast data flows, and common protocols

Coordination, Communication and Presentation skills

Cisco and Juniper Network certifications

Active Secret Clearance with the Ability to obtain TS/SCI

Ability to travel up to 25%
