Manage and mentor a team of AP specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving payment issues, and negotiating payment terms

Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting regulations related to accounts payable

Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights into AP metrics and trends

Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to accounts payable

Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the accounts payable system, ensuring data integrity and efficiency

Manage ad hoc projects related to accounts payable, such as system implementations or process improvements
