Responsibilities
This position oversees the company's Engineering, Health & Safety (H&S), and Quality teams, ensuring strong systems and initiatives that promote operational excellence and uphold the company's world-class manufacturing standards
The role focuses on modeling core values, prioritizing safety and quality, and driving accountability through LMA leadership principles
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Operations Team, embedding quality into engineering processes, and developing skilled engineers who provide technical support to customers
It also involves managing customer quality issues with timely, data-driven solutions, maintaining ISO-compliant safety and quality systems, and partnering with Sales to align product design and performance with market needs
Additional duties include delivering accurate documentation for manufacturing, leading effective team meetings, fostering continuous learning through programs like Fast Academy, driving measurable improvements via scorecards, and maintaining a clean, organized workplace under 5S standards
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience Engineering and Quality Systems in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of 5 years (10 years preferred) of leadership and supervisory experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering required
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in gaging and metrology
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word) and ERP systems
Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data analysis and statistical methods
Proficient in blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Background in Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
Preferred
10 years of leadership and supervisory experience preferred
