Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the location
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment
Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity, reporting findings to the appropriate personnel
Document security-related incidents and observations according to company and client protocols
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support security-related objectives
Qualification
Required
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree
Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
