Paladin Technologies is seeking a Security Systems Technician to install, terminate, configure, and test security systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have solid cabling fundamentals and hands-on hardware experience, with a strong desire to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, configure, and test enterprise security solutions with minimal supervision:
Perform proper cable installation practices (labeling, dressing, bend‑radius, PoE/IP considerations)
Troubleshoot & problem‑solve device, wiring, and network issues
Read and interpret blueprints/low‑voltage drawings; coordinate device locations and pathways
Lead project installations as required; maintain quality control and provide exceptional customer service
Track project progress, escalate risks, and close punch‑list items

Reliable transportation and a strong desire to learn and grow with Paladin Technologies
Process‑oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics professionally
Networking knowledge and practical internet/IP experience (IP addressing, PoE basics, switch/NVR connectivity)
Able to work independently and resolve problems to the customer's satisfaction
Valid driver's license and clean MVR required

Preferred

Video analytics, visitor management, and IP network systems experience
Prior exposure to intrusion detection, REX/EREX, and electronic door hardware
Experience leading a crew and coordinating with GC/owner teams
Current certification in any of the following is a plus: Honeywell Pro‑Watch, Genetec, Openpath, Exacq, 3xLogic, Brivo
