Responsibilities
Execute daily customer activities, including order entry, tracking, and timely response to inquiries
Manage order coordination with local business units and communicate delivery timelines
Develop bids and proposals responsive to customer requirements using Hitachi Energy tools and processes
Write and revise proposal and contract documents, compile data for reporting scope, terms, cost, and profitability
Participate in customer and internal meetings to exchange information and review contract requirements
Investigate technical issues and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Execute change orders and assist with collection of overdue invoices
Provide periodic reporting for outstanding orders, Vendor Managed Inventory, or Blanket Order management
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of customer support experience in Industrial, EPC, Utility, or related fields
General knowledge of power transmission and distribution products/systems
Previous experience with business-to-business customer support
Familiarity with CRMs and web portals
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred
5 years of customer support experience in Industrial, EPC, Utility, or related fields
Power generation experience
Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce
