Responsibilities
Process and monitor accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Perform detailed reconciliations of financial accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies
Utilize Microsoft Excel and Access to manage and analyze data effectively
Conduct thorough research to support financial operations and resolve outstanding issues
Maintain relational databases to organize and track financial information efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Prepare regular financial reports and provide insights to support business decisions
Assist in the implementation of best practices for accounting functions within the insurance agency
Support audits by providing accurate documentation and detailed accounts
Communicate with clients or stakeholders to address inquiries related to accounts receivable
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Experience with Microsoft Access and relational databases
Strong background in accounting functions, particularly accounts receivable
Ability to perform detailed reconciliations and resolve financial discrepancies
Skilled in conducting research to support financial decision-making
Familiarity with the operations and requirements of an insurance agency
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
