HR Generalist
Miller Pipeline is a leader in building and maintaining America’s infrastructure. They are hiring a Human Resources Generalist in Pueblo West, CO to support the HR department in onboarding and administration to increase employee productivity, morale, and retention.

Responsibilities
Conduct orientation for new field employees in the region
Assist in providing necessary reports for HR or Payroll purposes
Review new hire and termination checklists for accuracy; edit as necessary. Forward to appropriate mailing lists
Update union rates spreadsheet and provide data to Payroll department
Administer benefits, including FMLA, as well as short & long term disability
Serve as point of contact for employee questions and concerns
Assist with investigations and employee relations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2-3+ years of HR experience
Able to work in-office 5 days a week (schedule is Mon – Fri, 8am -5pm)
Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment such as scanner, copier, etc
Excellent time management skills
Professional demeanor and high-level communication and interpersonal skills with all company employees and outside customers
Intermediate level in MS Office software, especially Outlook and Excel
High detail orientation and accuracy
Customer focused
Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data at all times
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or significant coursework in business management, human resources, organizational leadership or a related field
4+ years generalist experience with desire for development and advancement
Knowledge of human resources programs and employment law
