Responsibilities
Manage and lead the mortgage servicing team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
Ensure all mortgage servicing tasks, including payment processing, are completed accurately and on time
Oversee compliance standards across the mortgage portfolio, maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements
Review and finalize post-closing procedures, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
Provide guidance on pre-closing activities to enhance operational efficiency
Monitor team performance and implement strategies for team development and growth
Collaborate with other departments to streamline mortgage processes and improve customer satisfaction
Analyze mortgage applications and documents to ensure thorough and precise underwriting
Identify areas for improvement within mortgage operations and propose effective solutions
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain best practices
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field
Strong knowledge of mortgage loan underwriting, including commercial and residential mortgages
Proficiency in managing mortgage applications, documents, and closing procedures
Familiarity with compliance requirements and regulatory standards in the mortgage industry
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and other departments
Preferred
A relevant degree or certification focused on attention to detail in mortgage lending or banking is a plus
