This role will provide high-level support and analysis to the F-35 JPO community, including drafting and coordinating responses to Congressional inquiries and attending Congressional hearings.

Responsibilities
Lead development of executive‑level briefings and formal replies to committees and staffers
Provide strategic counsel to JPO leadership on legislative risks/opportunities; advise on engagement strategies
Coordinate multi‑office inputs; ensure technical and financial elements are consistent and defensible
Mentor journeyman analysts; enforce quality standards and SLAs
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of DoD policy, appropriations/authorization processes, and Hill protocol
Senior-level communication and negotiation
Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum Bachelors degree in related subject or discipline OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a Secret Clearance
Minimum 10 years performing duties described in the description above; at least 5 years of experience working on or with Capitol Hill, in a legislative affairs or policy role within a federal agency, or in a government relations role, with a mix of government and defense or private sector experience
