Assistant Professor, Research Track, Human Genetics (CHOP)
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Human Genetics are seeking candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure research track. The role focuses on developing collaborative and independent research programs related to human genetics, as well as co-supervision of postdoctoral fellows and coordination of NIH-funded grant efforts.

Developing collaborative and independent research programs related to human genetics
Co-supervision of postdoctoral fellows, students, and research staff
Coordinating NIH-funded grant efforts with local, national, and international collaborators or independently
Active leadership in writing grants, reports, and manuscripts
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree
Expertise in the specific area of human genetics
Demonstrated substantial experience in aspects of human genetics research
Track record of publication
Good communication skills
Preferred
Expertise in one or more of the following: computational biology, statistical genetics, population genetics, biomedical informatics, complex genetics, pharmacogenetics/genomics, functional genomics, structural variation analysis, cancer genetics, human phenomics, and genomic medicine
