Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions supporting securities trading
Work directly with front-office users to deliver timely, high-quality solutions
Lead technical design for complex components and guide system architecture decisions
Create and manage project plans, timelines, and technical deliverables
Provide expert-level support for existing platforms, diagnosing and resolving advanced issues
Contribute to internal modeling, reporting, and solution governance
Establish and uphold development standards, best practices, and infrastructure guidelines
Drive performance optimization, system tuning, and scalability initiatives
Mentor engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
9+ years of experience in software engineering or enterprise application development
Hands-on development experience with C++ and Java
Strong background in service-oriented and multi-tier architectures
Experience with performance monitoring, system configuration, and application optimization
Familiarity with modern engineering practices such as cloud technologies, test-driven development, and domain-driven design
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and align them with business strategy
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence teams through expertise and collaboration
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously
