Responsibilities

Conducts test protocols, as assigned, to ensure the parts, products, and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations for incoming, manufacturing or final inspection quality, as applicable
Supports quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing, and validation, as applicable in the local organization
Assists in specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation
Reports quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages
Collaborates in improving existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, and accuracy
Evaluates quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for the determination of compliance with requirements
Trains local operational teams in quality assurance and testing routines and verifies that testing is performed as a part of the specified control plans

Required

Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Skilled in using measurement and inspection tools
Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
High school diploma or equivalent required
Legally authorized to work in the U.S
Ability to safely use a ladder and lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs

Preferred

Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards preferred
Experience with non-conformance documentation preferred
Experience with ERP or MES systems (SAP preferred)
Knowledge of continuous improvement tools preferred
Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector or Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt are a plus
